Sutherland Independent Ltd is an Independent Financial Advisory company which is directly authorised by the Financial Services Authority. The Company is not part of a network or owned by a larger parent that can dictate how services are delivered and, as such, has not only tailored its own advanced customer service proposition, but is closely in touch with the needs of its many clients.

The company was established in 1996 and has gradually grown its business by delivering excellent customer service, dealing with client referrals and building strong relationships with a number of Solicitor and Accountancy practices.

Sutherland Independent Ltd continues to build on its core values of honesty, integrity, fairness and ongoing service. We aim to provide impartial, independent financial advice at outset and, importantly, to spend time reviewing clients’ portfolios and ensuring that they continue to be tailored to meet their individual and family needs - particularly important in the current economic climate.

The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years and now boasts a team of four Financial Advisers and one Mortgage Adviser – all of whom bring a wealth of Investment, Pensions and Mortgage knowledge to the business.

Sutherland Independent Ltd started 2011 with the acquisition of Hurley Financial Services. Owner, Trevor Hurley, on taking early retirement, wanted to ensure that his clients continued to receive impartial advice and a service proposition to meet their needs.
